## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AIRCRAFT N725CC S/N 550-0725 WAS ON A 14 CFR 135 FLIGHT TO SEATTLE, BOEING FIELD ON 09-20-2005. DURING LANDING AT BOEING FIELD AT APPROXIMATELY 11:15 AM PDT, AS THE AIRCRAFT HAD SLOWED, WHILE TURNING OFF THE RUNWAY THE LEFT BRAKE LOCKED AND AIRCRAFT SKIDDED TO A STOP. THE AIRCRAFT WAS TOWED OFF THE RUNWAY AND MOVED TO A MAINTENANCE FACILITY. AFTER LEFT BRAKE WAS REMOVED AND DISASSEMBLED, IT WAS FOUND THAT THE STATOR HAD CRACKED AND BROKEN INTO FOUR SECTIONS, ONE OF THE SMALLER SECTIONS HAD MOVED AND LODGED ITSELF IN THE ASSEMBLY AND STOPPED THE WHEEL FROM TURNING FREELY. BOTH BRAKES WERE FOUND TO BE WORN AND CLOSE TO MINIMUMS. BRAKES WERE EXCHANGED. NO OTHER DAMAGE WAS FOUND.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
