## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) TRANSMERIDIAN AIRLINES (P9RA) FLIGHT 2211 RETURNED TO TOLEDO EXPRESS AIRPORT WITHOUT INCIDENT DUE TO A SHORTED OUT #2 ENGINE OIL TEMPERATURE INDICATOR. CREW SHUT DOWN #2 ENGINE PER SHUTDOWN PROCEDURES. P9RA TOLEDO MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE DEFECTIVE OIL TEMPERATURE INDICATOR. AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE. NOTE: DUE TO P9RA CEASING OPERATIONS, BLOCK 13, AIRFRAME TIME AND CYCLES, ARE UNAVAILABLE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
