## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON SEPTEMBER 29, 2005, AT 1650 LOCAL TIME, A CESSNA 172RG, REGISTERED TO HELICOPTER STRUCTURAL & MAINTENANCE INC., HAD THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSE WHILE ON A TRAINING FLIGHT. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME AND NO FLIGHT PLAN WAS FILED. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO EITHER PILOT. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED AT TAMPA NORTH AIRPORT (X39) AT 1530 LOCAL TIME.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
