## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON SEPTEMBER 30, 2005, AT 1841 MDT, A GULFSTREAM G-V, N506QS, REGISTERED TO NJI SALES INC, LANDED AT GREAT FALLS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT IN GREAT FALLS, MONTANA. A POST FLIGHT INSPECTION PERFORMED BY THE FLIGHT CREW REVEALED THAT THE RIGHT HAND HORIZONTAL STABILIZER TIP HAD BEEN DAMAGED. THE FLIGHT WAS A PART 91 REPOSITIONING FLIGHT AND HAD NO PASSENGERS ON BOARD. WHILE THE AIRCRAFT WAS PARKED AT LGA EARLIER ON 9/30/05, ANOTHER GULFSTREAM TAXIED BEHIND IT. THE FLIGHT CREW FELT A BUMP BUT THOUGHT IT WAS THE JET BLAST FROM THE OTHER AIRCRAFT. THE CREW THEN GOT OUT AND LOOKED AT THE AIRCRAFT AND SPOTTED NO DAMAGE SO THEY DEPARTED TO CMH ON A 91K FLIGHT. THE AIRCRAFT THEN CONTINUED ON FOR A REPOSITIONING FLIGHT TO GTF.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
