## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON 10/06/2005, PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA OMI^ DEPARTED HURON, SD WITH TWO PASSENGERS AND ARRIVED AT ABERDEEN, SD (ABR). THE PILOT STATED HE WAS VFR AND PLANNED ON LANDING ON RUNWAY 35. HE SAID THERE WAS ANOTHER AIRCRAFT DEPARTING FROM RUNWAY 31. HE SAID HE WAS DISTRACTED FROM COMPLETING THE CHECKLIST ITEMS BECAUSE HE WAS CONCERNED ABOUT THE SPACING FROM HIS AIRCRAFT AND THE ONE DEPARTING. THE PILOT ^PRIVACY D^ LANDED ON RUNWAY 35. HE DID NOT COMPLETE HIS PRELANDING CHECKLIST AND SUBSEQUENTLY LANDED GEAR UP ON RUNWAY 35 AT ABR. THE PILOT SAID THERE WAS NO LANDING GEAR WARNING HORN DURING THE APPROACH. AS A RESULT OF THE GEAR UP LANDING, THERE WAS DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLERS, COWLINGS, BELLY SKIN, AND FLAPS. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE MECHANIC WAS ALSO INTERVIEWED. THE MECHANIC STATED THAT AFTER HE MOVED THE AIRCRAFT TO THE HANGAR, HE CHECKED THE GEAR HORN AND STATED THE HORN WAS NOT WORKING.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
