## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON 11/7/2005, LR-60, N494PA, OPERATED BY PINNACLE AIR LLC AS FLIGHT 494, DEPARTED OMA. AFTER DEPARTURE THE PILOT REPORTED THAT THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNING TO OMA DUE TO LANDING GEAR PROBLEMS. CONTRACT MAINTENANCE INSPECTED THE AIRCRAFT AND FOUND THAT THE LANDING GEAR WOULD NOT RETRACT PROPERLY DUE TO SNOW PACKED IN THE WHEEL WELL AREA. THIS WAS INTERFERING WITH THE SQUAT SWITCH SENSOR AND GEAR UPLOCKS. MAINTENANCE CLEANED THE WHEEL WELL AREAS AND THE GEAR CYCLED SATISFACTORY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
