## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AS THE AIRCRAFT ACCELERATED FOR TAKEOFF, IT VEERED TO THE RIGHT. PILOT ATTEMPTED TO KEEP IT ON THE RUNWAY WITH RUDDER AND DIFFERENTIAL THRUST BUT WAS UNSUCCESSFUL AND THE AIRCRAFT RAN OFF THE RUNWAY AND INTO A WET, SOFT STRIP BETWEEN THE RUNWAY AND THE TAXIWAY. PILOT ATTEMPTED TO ADD POWER IN AN ATTEMPT TO MOVE THE AIRCRAFT THROUGH THE SOFT AREA AND ONTO THE TAXIWAY BUT THE NOSE GEAR SANK INTO THE MUD AND THE RIGHT PROPELLER CONTACTED THE GROUND.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
