## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) 11/10/2005, APPROX 07:45 CT, N5075P, AN AT-502P WAS OPERATING UNDER VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS. OPERATED BY A & G FLYING SERVICE (LFYG) AND PILOTED BY ^PRIVACY DATA^. AIRCRAFT WAS ENROUTE TO CHEMICAL PICKUP POINT AFTER DEPARTING CLASSIC AIRSTRIP IN JONSBORO, AR. TO SENTER PRIVATE AIRSTRIP FOR THE PURPOSE OF AERIAL APPLICATION WHEN THE MAIN LANDING GEAR CONTACTED THE ELEVATED BANK OF A DRAINAGE DITCH AT THE END OF THE AIRSTRIP, SEPARATING THE GEAR FROM THE AIRCRAFT RESULTING IN SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO AIRFRAME. PILOT RECEIVED NO INJURIES.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB DFW06CA031](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/DFW06CA031), Nov 10, 2005: Air Tractor AT-502B (N5075P), Osceola, AR, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain control of the airplane while on final approach. A contributing factor was the gusty winds.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
