## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE STUDENT AND INSTRUCTOR HAD PLANNED TO LAND JUST BEYOND THE NUMBERS OF RUNWAY 27 ON THEIR 4TH APPROACH. THEY LANDED SHORT OF THE RUNWAY CONTACTING THE LIP OF THE RUNWAY CAUSING RIGHT AND LEFT SKIN WRINKLES AND LEFT LANDING GEAR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT (HARD LANDING). THE AIRCRAFT CONTACTED THE LIP OF RUNWAY 27 FROM A DOWNDRAFT DURING THE 4TH APPROACH BY THE STUDENT. THERE WERE NO INJURIES REPORTED. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
