## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AIRCRAFT ON THE TAKE-OFF ROLL VEERED LEFT HIT A SNOW BERM, FLIPPING ON ITS BACK CAUSING SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO THE AIRFRAME. THERE WERE NO INJURIES INVOLVED IN THIS ACCIDENT. UNABLE TO CONTACT THE PIC AS HE HAD BEEN OUT OF TOWN. WILL AMEND THIS FORM AT A LATER DATE WHEN I HAVE TALKED TO THE PIC. THE PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA O^ CONTACTED ME DEC. 14, 2005. HE STATED THAT ON TAKEOFF AT MERRILL FIELD THE AIRCRAFT GOT AWAY FROM HIM AND HE COULD NOT GAIN CONTROL ENOUGH TO KEEP THE AIRCRAFT FROM HITTING THE SNOW BERM. THERE WERE NO SIGNIFICANT WINDS AT THE TIME TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE ACCIDENT.
