## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AT FL23, ALL COCKPIT CRT'S STARTED FLASHING ON AND OFF, PFD'S, MFD'S, BOTH EICAS AND RTU'S. THE CREW THEN RECEIVED NUMEROUS CAUTION MESSAGES INCLUDING AC BUS 1, L AUTO XFER FAIL, GEN 1 OFF, STAB TRIM, MACH TRIM, STALL FAIL, AND EFIS COM MON (FOR IAS). ALL CAUTION MESSAGES FAILED IN THE ORDER WRITTEN. AT THIS POINT, THE SIC WAS FLYING THE AIRCRAFT AND THE PIC DECLARED AN EMERGENCY REQUESTING A TURN TO THE NEAREST AIRPORT. THE AUTOPILOT AT THIS POINT DISENGAGED ITSELF AND THE SIC WAS MANUALLY FLYING THE AIRCRAFT. ACCORDING TO THE CREW, DURING THEIR DESCENT BETWEEN FL 18 AND FL 17, THE EFIS COMP MON MESSAGE APPEARED AND THE SIC'S PDFD HAD A YELLOW IAS BOX OVER THE AIRSPEED. THIS MESSAGE WAS ONLY MOMENTARY AND CLEARED ON ITS OWN. WHILE THIS MESSAGE WAS ILLUMINATED, THE PIC'S AND THE STANDBY AIRSPEED INDICATED 280 KNOTS WHEREAS THE SIC'S AIRSPEED INDICATED 250 KNOTS. AT APPROXIMATELY FL11, THE AP NU TRIM CAUTION APPEARED. THE SIC HAD PREVIOUSLY RE-ENGAGED THE AUTOPILOT BUT AT THIS POINT, THE CREW DECIDED TO DISENGAGE THE AUTOPILOT AND THE SIC MANUALLY FLEW THE AIRCRAFT FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE FLIGHT. PRIOR TO LANDING, THE PIC NOTIFIED THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT OF THE TYPE OF LANDING WITH A "NO BRACE" COMMAND ISSUED. FOLLOWING LANDING AND TAXI TO THE GATE, THE CREW DETERMINED THAT NO EMERGENCY EVACUATION WAS REQUIRED AND THE PASSENGERS WERE DEPLANED THROUGH THE MAIN CABIN DOOR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
