## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AIR AMBULANCE HELICOPTER WAS LANDING AT A HOSPITAL PAD WITH THE PILOT AS SOLE OCCUPANT TO RECOVER THE MEDICAL CREW AT THE HOSPITAL. DURING LANDING THE HELICOPTER'S TAIL ROTOR STRUCK A 6' HIGH FENCE AND CONTACT MADE SEVERAL SMALL HOLES IN THE FUSELAGE OF THE HELICOPTER AND MINIMAL DAMAGE TO THE FENCE WITH NO INJURIES OR OTHER DAMAGE REPORTED. THERE WAS A SECOND HELICOPTER RUNNING ON THE SAME LARGE PAD WHEN THIS HELICOPTER MADE ITS APPROACH AND LANDING TO THE PAD STRIKING THE TAIL ROTOR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
