## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON DECEMBER 23, 2005, AT APPROXIMATELY 1120 MST, N1948J, A GC-1-B, WITH THE PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA OM^ PERFORMING AS PILOT-IN-COMMAND, EXPERIENCED A GROUND LOOP WHILE ATTEMPTING TO TAKEOFF AT INDIAN HILLS AIRPARK NEAR SALOME, ARIZONA. THE PILOT ^PRIVACY D^ STATES THAT HE HAD FLOWN APPROXIMATELY 22 HOURS IN THE LAST 10 MONTHS AND WAS ATTEMPTING TO FLY THE AIRCRAFT FOLLOWING A LENGTHY RESTORATION. ON THIS TAKEOFF, THE PILOT ^PRIVACY D^ STATES THAT HE ADDED POWER TOO RAPIDLY AND THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN TO TURN TO THE LEFT. THE AIRCRAFT GROUND LOOPED TO THE LEFT AND SUBSEQUENTLY STRUCK THE WIND SOCKK POLE. THERE WAS MINOR DAMAGE TO THE LEFT WING AND RIGHT MAIN GEAR. THE PILOT ^PRIVACY D^ WAS THE SOLE OCCUPANT AND RECEIVED NO INJURIES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
