- [NTSB ATL06FA030](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ATL06FA030), Jan 2, 2006: Piper PA-28-180 (N2169T), Peachtree City, GA, destroyed, 1 fatal. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain sufficient altitude while performing an instrument approach in instrument meteorological conditions, which resulted in an in-flight collision with trees and terrain.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong.
