## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AFTER LANDING ON RUNWAY 05L, AND DURING ROLL OUT THE PILOT AND CO-PILOT BOTH HEARD A "SNAPPING" SOUND AND THE NOSE DOWN PITCH OF THE AIRCRAFT SEEMED LESS THAN NORMAL. WHILE THE CO-PILOT WAS HOLDING FULL AFT ELEVATOR PRESSURE THE PILOT (PIC) QUICKLY PULLED THE THROTTLE AND MIXTURE TO IDLE CUTOFF. AT THIS TIME THE ENGINE STOPPED ROTATING AND THE AIRCRAFT DECELERATED. THE AIRCRAFT LOST ELEVATOR EFFECTIVENESS AND THE NOSE OF THE AIRCRAFT DROPPED DRAMATICALLY, IMPACTING THE TAXIWAY. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO A STOP AND THE PILOT AND CO-PILOT SAFELY EGRESSES WITH NO INJURIES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
