## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON JANUARY 12, 2006, N672PS WAS PARKED IN THE SECOND ROW NORTH OF TAC AIR ON THE TAC AIR RAMP AT THE RICK HUSBAND AIRPORT AT AMARILLO, TEXAS. THE AIRCRAFT WAS POINTED TO THE SOUTH AT APPROXIMATELY 220 DEGREES. THE WINDS, AS REPORTED BY THE NATIONAL OCEANIC & ATMOSPHERIC ADMINISTRATION, ON JANUARY 12, 2006, AT 1553 LOCAL TIME, WERE 28 MILES PER HOUR AND GUSTING TO 35 MILES PER HOUR AT 010 DEGREES. AT APPROXIMATELY 1520 LOCAL TIME, THE PILOT STARTED TAXIING OUT WITH THE NUMBER ONE ENGINE RUNNING. HE PROCEEDED SOUTH FROM THE PARKING SPOT AND MADE A RIGHT TURN. UPON COMPLETING THE TURN, THE AIRCRAFT DID NOT STOP AND CONTINUED TO MAKE A RIGHT TURN UNTIL THE LEFT WING HIT A PARKED VAN, THEN TURNED LEFT AND THE RIGHT WING TIP HIT A PARKED AIRCRAFT AND ITS TIE-DOWN. THERE WERE NO REPORTED INJURIES AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
