## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR PILOT STATED THAT THEY WERE DOING TOUCH AND GO LANDINGS ON RUNWAY 08 AT GRIFFITH AIRPORT. THE WEATHER WAS VMC WITH OCCASIONAL GUSTY WINDS. ON THE 7TH LANDING THEY WERE APPROXIMATELY 3/4 OF THE WAY DOWN THE RUNWAY ON ROLLOUT WHEN AT A SPEED OF 20MPH THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR COLLAPSED. THE AIRCRAFT IMMEDIATELY VEERED RIGHT, THE RIGHT WING AT THE TIP TANK IMPACTED THE RUNWAY AND ALMOST SIMULTANEOUSLY THE RIGHT PROP STRUCK THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT CONTINUED VEERING RIGHT WHEN IT CAME TO A FULL STOP OFF OF THE RUNWAY. THE PILOT IMMEDIATELY SHUT OFF THE FUEL, THEN THE MAGNETOS AND BATTERY MASTER SWITCH. THE PILOT AND STUDENT EXITED THE AIRCRAFT WITH NO INJURIES.
