## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) WHILE FOLLOWING ANOTHER AIRPLANE TAXIING IN FRONT OF HIM, BETWEEN HANGAR ROWS, THE PILOT'S ATTENTION WAS DIVERTED MOMENTARILY BY AN OPEN HANGAR DOOR TO THE SIDE. AT THE SAME TIME, THE LEAD AIRCRAFT STOPPED TO ALLOW ANOTHER AIRPLANE TO TAXI BY. WHEN THE PILOT LOOKED BACK AHEAD AND SAW THE STOPPED AIRPLANE AHEAD, HE OVERREACTED BY APPLYING THE BRAKES TOO HARD, CAUSING THE CONVENTIONAL GEAR AIRPLANE TO NOSE OVER AND STRIKE THE PROP ON THE PAVEMENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
