## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON 01/19/06 AT APPROXIMATELY 16:30 LCL PST, AIRCRAFT N83RR, A LANCE AIR IV-PT, LOST OIL PRESSURE AT FL250 WHILE IFR S39 TO HLN WITH ZSE. PILOT DESCENDED WITHOUT POWER AND MADE A DEAD STICK LANDING AT LAGRANDE, OREGON. DURING THE LANDING THE AIRCRAFT WENT OFF THE END OF RWY 30 DUE TO LACK OF BRAKING ACTION. AS AIRCRAFT DEPARTED THE RUNWAY THE LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED. PILOT STATED THAT THIS WAS THE SECOND OIL PRESSURE FAILURE THAT HE HAD ENCOUNTERED WITH THIS AIRCRAFT ENGINE, A WALTER 601E11A TURBOPROP. AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED ONLY MINOR DAMAGE AND THE PILOT WAS UNINJURED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
