## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON JANUARY 27, 2006 AT APPROXIMATELY 2318Z (1518 LOCAL TIME), THE PILOT LANDED N747MF, A PA-46-350P ON RUNWAY 21R AT FELTS FIELD (SFF) SPOKANE, WA. FOLLOWING ROLL-OUT OF SEVERAL HUNDRED FEET, THE AIRCRAFT VEERED SHARPLY TO THE LEFT, THE PILOT CORRECTED WITH RIGHT BRAKE AND RIGHT RUDDER. THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN A RIGHT TURN COMING TO REST FACING THE DIRECTION IT CAME FROM. VISIBLE DAMAGE WAS LIMITED TO DAMAGED PROPELLER TIPS, INSPECTION REVEALED THAT THE REAR, LOWER MOST WELDMENT ON THE ENGINE MOUNT HAD FAILED. THIS WELDMENT SUPPORTS THE NONMOVABLE AIRFRAME MOUNT FOR THE NOSE LANDING GEAR HYDRAULIC ACTUATOR. INDICATIONS ARE THIS MOUNT WAS BROKEN PRIOR TO THIS LANDING AND FULLY SEPARATED WHEN THE GEAR WAS EXTENDED OR AS THE WEIGHT OF THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO THE NOSE LANDING GEAR DURING THE LANDING ROLL-OUT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
