## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AFTER MAKING A FULL STALL LANDING WITH HIS LUSCOMBE, THE PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA^ DETECTED THE TAIL WHEEL BEGAN TO SHIMMY VIOLENTLY. THE PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA^ BROUGHT THE TAIL BACK UP TO STOP THE SHIMMY. DURING THIS MANEUVER, THE PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA^ FELT THE NOSE STARTING TO VEER TO THE LEFT. THE PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA^ SUSPECTED THAT WHEN HE PUSHED ON THE RIGHT RUDDER TO CORRECT THE NOSE VEERING TO THE LEFT, HE MIGHT HAVE CAUGHT THE HEEL BRAKE WHICH GRABBED AND HAS A REPUTATION FOR GRABBING ACCORDING TO HIM, CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO TUG TO THE RIGHT AND INDUCED MINOR DAMAGE TO BOTH THE RIGHT WING TIP AND PROPELLER.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
