## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) DURING THE LANDING CHECKLIST, THE GREEN NOSE GEAR INDICATOR LIGHT WAS NOT ILLUMINATED. THE GEAR WAS RECYCLED, BUT NO NOSE GEAR LIGHT INDICATION. THE MANUAL GEAR EXTENSION CHECKLIST WAS RUN, BUT STILL NO LIGHT. MAINTENANCE WAS CONTACTED. THE ANNUNCIATOR TEST BUTTON ILLUMINATED THE LIGHT. A LOW PASS WAS MADE TO DETERMINE IF THE NOSE GEAR WAS IN FACT DOWN. FMN MAINTENANCE OBSERVED THE NOSE GEAR APPEARED TO BE DOWN. AN EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED AND EMERGENCY RESPONSE CREWS WERE ON HAND FOR THE LANDING. PASSENGERS WERE BRIEFED FOR LANDING. UPON LANDING, THE AIRCRAFT WAS SHUT DOWN ON THE RUNWAY, AND MAINTENANCE SECURED THE NOSE GEAR. THE AIRCRAFT WAS TOWED TO THE GATE AND THE PASSENGERS WERE DEPLANED WITHOUT INJURY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
