## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON FEB 9, 2006, THE PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA O^ HAD HIS LOGBOOK SIGNED FOR HIS SOLO FLIGHT. AT APPROXIMATELY 1100 MST HE WAS MAKING HIS FIRST LANDING ON RWY 29 AND LANDED AND GUST OF WIND LIFTED THE PLANE CAUSING THE PLANE TO TOUCH DOWN AGAIN ON ITS NOSE WHEEL AND BOUNCED IN THE AIR CAUSING THE PILOT ^PRIVACY DAT^ TO APPLY POWER AND GO AROUND. ON THE SECOND LANDING THE PLANE MADE A GOOD LANDING BUT WHEN WEIGHT WAS PUT ON THE LANDING GEAR THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER AND THE AIRCRAFT TO SKID ON ITS NOSE WHEEL TILL STOPPED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
