## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PIC INDICATED THAT HE HAD BEEN WORKING FOR NIGHTHAWK FOR APPROXIMATELY ONE MONTH. HE WAS NOT LISTED ON THE CURRENT WAIVER, BUT THE HOUSTON FSDO HAD GIVEN HIM WRITTEN AUTHORIZATION. HE NOTICED A VIBRATION COMING FROM THE ENGINE. HE DIDN'T NOTICE ANY CHANGES TO POWER OR ENGINE INSTRUMENTS. HE CALLED ADDISON TOWER AND REQUESTED A LOCATION TO LAND, AS HE DIDN'T FEEL COMFORTABLE FLYING BACK TO DALLAS EXECUTIVE AIRPORT, WHERE HE HAD TAKEN OFF. HE DID NOT WANT TO DROP THE SIGN ON ANYONE, SO HE LANDED WITH THE BANNER ATTACHED. AFTER TOUCHDOWN, HE CUT THE THROTTLE, AND THE AIRCRAFT SLOWED DOWN IMMEDIATELY. HE INDICATED THAT SHORTLY AFTER TOUCHDOWN, THE AIRCRAFT VEERED SHARPLY TO THE RIGHT, AND CAME TO A STOP. HE INDICATED THAT HE HAD TOUCHED DOWN HARDER THAN NORMAL, BUT THAT IT DIDN'T SEEM EXCESSIVE. (LANDED 16 WIND 18 @ 12-15). WEATHER CLEAR, UNLIMITED VISIBILITY. RUNWAY PAVED AND DRY. DAMAGE-PROP STRIKE, ONE BLADE ONLY. R/H WINGTIP FAIRING. R/H MAIN LANDING GEAR ATTACH KNUCKLE SNAPPED-NO FUSELAGE DAMAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
