## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT STATED THAT WHEN HE LANDED, THE AIRCRAFT SWERVED SLIGHTLY TO THE RIGHT AND THEN BACK TO THE LEFT AND THE LEFT WING STRUCK WHAT APPEARED TO BE A TRIPOD THAT WAS SET UP ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY. THE TRIPOD WAS STANDING ABOUT 8 INCHES FROM THE LEFT EDGE OF THE RUNWAY ACCORDING TO THE AIRPORT MANAGER. THE IMPACT CAUSED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE LEFT WING LEADING EDGE AND UNDERSIDE. THERE WERE NO INJURIES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
