## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) N37342, CL-600-2B19, WAS BEING OPERATED BY MESA AIRLINES AS UNITED AIRLINES EXPRESS FLIGHT 7299, BETWEEN CHICAGO, IL. AND LINCOLN, NE. DURING THE APPROACH TO LINCOLN THE CREW REPORTED TO ATC THAT THEY RECEIVED AN APU FIRE INDICATION LIGHT. CONTRACT MAINTENANCE WAS CALLED AND THEY DETERMINED THAT IT WAS AN APU FIRE INDICATION FAULT. THE CAUSE OF THE FALSE INDICATION WAS NOT DETERMINED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
