## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) DURING AN ATTEMPT TO LAND THE AIRCRAFT AT TTA AIRPORT THE AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCED A CROSSWIND COMING FROM THE LEFT SIDE OF THE AIRCRAFT. UPON TOUCHDOWN THE LEFT WING RAISED, LIFTING THE LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR FROM THE GROUND. WHILE ATTEMPTING TO LEVEL THE AIRCRAFT, IT DEPARTED THE RUNWAY TO THE RIGHT ONTO THE GRASS MEDIAN. THE AIRCRAFT THEN CAME BACK DOWN ONTO BOTH MAIN LANDING GEAR. AT THAT POINT THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN A SLIP/SKID CONTINUING TO THE RIGHT CAUSING THE SIDELOAD ON THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR TO BE TOO GREAT. THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED AND THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST AFTER TURNING APPROXIMATELY 180 DEGREES. THE PILOT AND PASSENGER SAFELY EGRESSED THE AIRCRAFT WITH NO INJURIES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
