## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON MARCH 31, 2006, AT APPROXIMATELY 0730 LOCAL TIME, AN AIR TRACTOR 402, REGISTRATION NUMBER N402F, STRUCK AN ELECTRICAL POWERLINE WHILE PERFORMING A CLEAN-UP PASS ON A FIELD LOCATED APPROXIMATELY TWO MILES NORTH AND TWO MILES WEST OF CLOVIS MUNICIPAL AIRPORT (CVN). THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO THE AIRPORT WITH APPROXIMATELY 100 YARDS OF WIRE ATTACHED TO THE LANDING GEAR. THE AIRCRAFT WAS UNDAMAGED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
