## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON 04-13-2006, WHILE OPERATING UNDER 14 CFR 91, A US REGISTERED BEECHCRAFT BONANZA (N5648K S/N D-7585), LANDED GEAR UP AT PENN YAN (KPEO) AIRPORT, PENN YAN, NY. THE AIRCRAFT SUFFERED PROPELLER, ENGINE AND AIRFRAME DAMAGE. THE AFOREMENTIONED AIRCRAFT WAS ON MAINTENANCE TEST FLIGHT SUBSEQUENT TO THE INSTALLATION OF A OVERHAULED IO-520 POWERPLANT. NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED. THE PIC STATED THAT HE WANTED TO RETRACT THE FLAPS BUT SELECTED THE LANDING GEAR HANDLE BY MISTAKE. THIS INCIDENT IS CONSIDERED CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
