## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB MIA06FA098](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/MIA06FA098), Apr 26, 2006: Beech A24R (N9774L), Okeechobee, FL, destroyed, 2 fatal. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain aircraft control as a result of spatial disorientation and an in-flight break up. Contributing to the accident were the dark night and thunderstorms.
