## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AIRCRAFT WAS LANDED WITH THE LANDING GEAR IN THE RETRACTED POSITION. THE PILOT STATED THAT HE HAD PUT THE GEAR HANDLE IN THE DOWN POSITION BUT FAILED TO VERIFY A GEAR DOWN INDICATION PRIOR TO LANDING. ACCORDING TO THE PILOT THE LANDING GEAR WARNING HORN NEVER SOUNDED. SUBSEQUENT TO THE INCIDENT, MAINTENANCE WAS ABLE TO INITIALLY LOWER THE GEAR ELECTRICALLY. HOWEVER, DURING FURTHER ATTEMPTS TO RAISE AND LOWER THE GEAR, THE LANDING GEAR CIRCUIT BREAKER WOULD OPEN. IN ADDITION, MAINTENANCE DETERMINED THAT THE LANDING GEAR WARNING HORN WOULD NOT ACTIVATE UNTIL THE THROTTLE POSITION WAS AT IDLE. ^PRIVACY DATA^

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
