(-23) DURING A CLIMBING TURN THE CYCLIC MOVED UN-COMMANDED TO THE FORWARD RIGHT, AND COLLECTIVE MOVED UPWARD. THE PILOT WAS UNABLE TO COMPENSATE FOR THESE UN-COMMANDED CONTROL MOVEMENTS. ENTIRE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM REMOVED AND SENT FOR FURTHER EVALUATION BY NTSB. RESULTS NOT YET AVAILABLE. CORRECTIVE ACTIONS DEPENDENT UPON INVESTIGATION RESULTS.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB DFW06LA118](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/DFW06LA118), May 5, 2006: Eurocopter EC120B (N514AL), Intracoastal, LA, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's loss of control for undetermined reasons.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
