## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON MAY 13, 2006, AT 0915 EDT, A CESSNA 310Q, N76KA REGISTERED TO CLEARWATER AIRCRAFT INC. WAS AT CRUISE ALTITUDE WHEN BOTH ENGINES LOST POWER, THE PILOT HAD PLACED THE LEFT AND RIGHT ENGINE FUEL SELECTORS TO THE LEFT MAIN FUEL TANK AND RAN THE TANK DRY. THE PILOT MADE A FORCED LANDING IN A FIELD SHORT OF THE RUNWAY. NO INJURIES TO THE PILOT AND MINOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
