(-23) ON MAY 19, 2006, AT 1200 LOCAL, A VELOCITY EXPERIMENTAL HOME-BUILT AIRCRAFT, N204AG, REGISTERED TO THE BUILDER, SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE WHEN THE NOSE LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED DURING LANDING AT DOUBLE EAGLE II AIRPORT IN ALBUQUERQUE, NM. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME, AND NO FLIGHT PLAN WAS FILED. NEITHER THE PILOT, WHO HOLDS AN AIRLINE TRANSPORT PILOT CERTIFICATE, NOR THE PASSENGER WAS INJURED. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED AT ROSEMOND, CA ON MAY 19, 2006 AT 0725.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
