## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AT APPROXIMATELY 20 FT. ALTITUDE, THE PILOT ABORTED A TAKEOFF FROM A 3,000 FT GRAVEL RUNWAY BECAUSE HE FELT THE ENGINE WAS NOT DEVELOPING FULL POWER. HE STATED THAT AFTER REDUCING POWER TO ABORT THE TAKEOFF THE AIRPLANE LANDED HARD AND GROUND LOOPED CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE LEFT WING AND RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR. SUBSEQUENT TO THE ACCIDENT, WHEN THE AIRCRAFT WAS DELIVERED BY HELICOPTER TO BIG LAKE AIRPORT (BGQ) THE CARBURETOR HEAT CONTROL WAS FOUND IN THE ON OR HOT POSITION.
