(-23) ACCORDING TO PIC: "ON FINAL APPROACH TO LANDING, I ENCOUNTERED A THERMAL AT THE END OF THE RUNWAY. I PUT THE NOSE DOWN TO MAINTAIN ALTITUDE, AND ENDED UP TOUCHING DOWN AT A STEEPER ANGLE THAN PLANNED. AS I TOUCHED DOWN, I BOUNCED UP AND AS I TOUCHED DOWN A SECOND TIME I FELT A SHARP PAIN IN MY BACK. AS I ROLLED TO A STOP I ENDED UP TURNING TOWARDS THE NORTH (DAMAGING THE WING WHEEL) AND STOPPED HORIZONTALLY ACROSS RUNWAY 26, FACING NORTH."

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
