## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED AFTER LANDING ON TAXI. AIRPLANE STRUCTURE DID NOT TOUCH RUNWAY AFTER FAILURE AND MAINTAINED DIRECTIONAL CONTROL. MANUFACTURER HAS KIT CK-159-1 RIGHT BEAM TO UPDATE NOSE GEAR SUPPORT TO CORRECT THIS CONDITION. THIS AIRPLANE WAS PREMOD AND WILL NOW INCORPORATE MANUFACTURER'S KIT. AIRPLANE WAS FERRIED TO SERVICE CENTER FOR CORRECTION WITH GEAR DOWN AND LOCKED AFTER INSPECTION BY FAA INSPECTORS ON SITE. SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS ON FILE BY THIS INSPECTOR TO MAKE MANDATORY ALL MANUFACTURER SAFETY RELATED ALERT BULLETINS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
