## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) WHILE PRACTICING MISSED APPROACHES AT (LWM) N2138W, A CE-172-S HAD A PROPELLER BLADE SEPARATION OF ONE BLADE 12" FROM THE CENTER OF THE HUB. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED WITH MINOR VISUAL DAMAGE AND NO INJURIES. THE AIRCRAFT WAS ON A TRAINING FLIGHT WITH AN INSTRUCTOR AND A COMMERCIAL PILOT UNDER INSTRUCTION. PHOTOGRAPHS AND DVDS HAVE BEEN SENT TO THE NTSB AND TO THE FAA AT WICHITA, KS. WE ARE WAITING FOR THE NTSB TO DETERMINE WHETHER OR NOT THEY WANT TO EXAMINE THE PROPELLER BEFORE RELEASING IT TO THE INTERESTED PARTIES. THE PILOT ^PRIVACY ^ DID NOT RESPOND TO TELEPHONE CALL.
