## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON APPROACH TO KENOSHA REGIONAL AIRPORT (ENW), WHEN THE PILOT EXTENDED THE LANDING GEAR HE DID NOT GET A NOSE GEAR DOWN AND LOCKED LIGHT. SEVERAL ATTEMPTS WERE MADE TO CYCLE THE GEAR AND THE EMERGENCY SYSTEM WAS ATTEMPTED WITH NO RESULTS. THE PILOT THEN DID A FLY BY OF THE TOWER WHO VERIFIED THAT THE NOSE GEAR WAS ONLY PARTIALLY EXTENDED. AT THAT POINT A LANDING WAS MADE AND THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED. EXAMINATION BY MAINTENANCE DISCOVERED THAT A PUSH PULL TUBE THAT RUNS FROM THE GEARBOX TO A BELLCRANK BELOW THE PILOT'S FEET HAD BROKEN.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
