## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AIR CARRIER INCIDENT, PITTSBURGH INT'L AIRPORT, PA, 6/13/06 AT 0759E, WIGGINS AIRWAYS FLIGHT 76, A CE-208-B, RETURNED AND LANDED ON RUNWAY 28R AFTER REPORTING SMOKE IN THE COCKPIT. THE ARFF RESPONDED AND THE AIRCRAFT TAXIED TO THE RAMP WITHOUT INCIDENT. FURTHER INVESTIGATION BY THIS OFFICE REVEALED THAT THE SMOKE WAS CAUSED BY A BAD NUMBER ONE AVIONICS SWITCH. THE SWITCH WAS REMOVED AND REPLACED, OPS CHECK GOOD. SUBMISSION OF THIS REPORT CLOSES THIS INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
