## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON JUNE 13, 2006 N1170Q, A ZODIAC AIRCRAFT, MODEL ZNTH CH-601-HD, SERIAL NUMBER 63347 LOST THE LEFT WHEEL WHILE CONDUCTING TAKEOFF AND LANDING PRACTICE IN BURLINGTON, VERMONT. ON SITE INVESTIGATION, 06/14/06 DETERMINED THAT A WELD ON THE LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR FAILED. NO INJURIES TO EITHER PILOT. THE AIRCRAFT IS AN AMATEUR BUILT EXPERIMENTAL AIRCRAFT. PHASE 1 AND 2 HAVE BEEN COMPLIED WITH.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
