## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AIRMAN WAS APPLYING MOSQUITO SPRAY IN THE COKEVILLE, WYOMING AREA. A FAST MOVING COLD FRONT WITH EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS WAS MOVING THROUGH THE AREA. AIRMAN DECIDED TO LAND AT COKEVILLE, WYOMING AND WAIT OUT THE PASSING OF THE STORM. DURING THE LANDING FLARE THE AIRCRAFT WAS STRUCK BY AN EXTREME CROSSWIND WHICH CAUSED THE AIRMAN TO LOSE CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT. A LEFT GROUND LOOP ENSUED. DURING THE GROUND LOOP THE LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED, CAUSING THE PROPELLER TO HIT THE GROUND. SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE WAS INCURRED TO THE WINGS OF THE AIRCRAFT.
