## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON 06/15/2006 AT APPROXIMATELY 1825 EDT, A BOEING (STEARMAN) A75L3, N65845, REGISTERED TO H & H AEROWORKS, GROUND LOOPED DURING LANDING AT CLINTON COUNTY AIRPORT, OHIO (I66) DURING A LOCAL PLEASURE FLIGHT. AFTER THE LANDING AND DURING THE ROLL OUT AT APPROXIMATELY 40 KTS, THE TAIL OF THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN TO ROTATE OR FISHTAIL IN A CLOCKWISE DIRECTION CAUSING THE LEFT WING TO STRIKE THE RUNWAY AS THE AIRCRAFT MADE A SHARP RIGHT TURN AND EXITED OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY INTO THE GRASS. THE LOWER LEFT WING WAS SUBSTANTIALLY DAMAGED DURING THE GROUND LOOP. THE ATP RATED PILOT WAS THE SOLE PERSON ON BOARD, AND WAS NOT INJURED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
