## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) CFI CONDUCTING BI-ANNUAL FLIGHT REVIEW. PILOT RECEIVING BI-ANNUAL FLIGHT REVIEW LANDED SHORT OF THE ASPHALT ON RUNWAY 26 AT MIFFLINTOWN AIRPORT. MINOR DAMAGE TO LANDING GEAR. CFI REPORTED EVERYTHING NORMAL ON APPROACH TO THE RUNWAY. AIRCRAFT SANK JUST PRIOR TO TOUCHDOWN AND LANDED SHORT OF THE RUNWAY. THE MINOR LANDING GEAR DAMAGE WAS SUSTAINED WHEN THE AIRCRAFT TRANSITIONED FROM THE GROUND IN FRONT OF THE RUNWAY TO THE RUNWAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
