## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) UPON LANDING ON RUNWAY 18 AT NEW CENTURY AIRCENTER (IXD), OLATHE, KANSAS, THE AIRCRAFT WENT OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY AND THE NOSE WHEEL COLLAPSED. THE PILOT AND TWO PASSENGERS (BOTH CERTIFICATED PILOTS) REPORTED THAT TOUCHDOWN ON THE MAIN LANDING GEAR WAS NORMAL. HOWEVER, WHEN THE NOSE WHEEL TOUCHED DOWN, THE AIRPLANE VEERED SHARPLY TO THE LEFT. THE AIRCRAFT HAD PRIOR DAMAGE TO THE NOSE WHEEL FORK ASSEMBLY, APPARENTLY DUE TO BEING TURNED BEYOND THE TOWING LIMITS. INCIDENT ^PRIVACY DATA ^ IS CLOSED WITH THIS REPORT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
