## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON JULY 2, 2006 AT APPROXIMATELY 0014 LOCAL, ON LANDING AT THE ANDERSON COUNTY AIRPORT, (KAND) ANDERSON, SC, N550MG, A PA-46, PIPER MALIBU, STRUCK AND KILLED A DEER. THE PILOT AND PASSENGER WERE THE ONLY OCCUPANTS OF THE AIRCRAFT. NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED. EXAMINATION OF THE AIRCRAFT REVEALED THAT THE NOSE WHEEL DOOR WAS DAMAGED AND THE RIGHT MAIN WHEEL DOOR WAS RIPPED FROM THE AIRCRAFT. NO OTHER DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT WAS INDICATED. NO STRUCTURAL DAMAGE WAS PRESENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
