## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON JULY 5, 2006, CESSNA 340, N2745F WAS FLOWN FROM WEST HOUSTON AIRPORT TO SAN ANTONIO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. ON FINAL APPROACH TO RUNWAY 12R, THE PILOT IN COMMAND, LOWERED THE LANDING GEAR, AND OBSERVED THREE GREEN GEAR DOWN LIGHTS. UPON LANDING THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED, AND THE AIRCRAFT SLID OFF THE RUNWAY. THE PILOT IN COMMAND STATED THAT THE AIRCRAFT LANDING GEAR SYSTEM HAD RECENTLY BEEN WORKED ON. DURING THE INVESTIGATION IT WAS FOUND THAT AN UNCALIBRATED SCALE WAS USED TO MAINTAIN THE LANDING GEAR.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
