## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON JULY 12, 2006, AT 1510Z, A LEAR MODEL 31A, N569SC, ON APPROACH TO SOUTHERN WISCONSIN REGIONAL AIRPORT, JANESVILLE, WI, EXPERIENCED A HARD ROLL TO THE RIGHT WHEN THE FLAPS WERE LOWERED TO 8 DEGREES. OPPOSITE AILERON INPUT DID NOT CORRECT ROLL. THE FLAPS WERE RETRACTED AND NORMAL FLIGHT WAS RESUMED. THE CREW PERFORMED A GO AROUND AND MADE A NO FLAP LANDING WITHOUT INCIDENT. INVESTIGATION ON THE GROUND REVEALED THE RIGHT FLAP INBOARD NOSE ROLLER SEPARATED FROM THE FLAP STRUCTURE. AS A RESULT, THE FLAP, WHEN LOWERED SHIFTED OUTBOARD CONTACTING THE RIGHT AILERON AND RESTRICTING AILERON TRAVEL. THE AIRCRAFT WAS BEING OPERATED AS A REPOSITIONING FERRY FLIGHT BY SC AVIATION, INC. UNDER 14 CFR PART 135 WHEN THE INCIDENT OCCURRED. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
