## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ACCORDING TO A NEIGHBOR WHO LIVED ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE ACCIDENT SITE, HE"...HEARD THE AIRCRAFT ENGINE START AND THEN TAXI WHICH SOUNDED NORMAL AS I HAVE HEARD THIS AIRCRAFT MANY TIMES PREVIOUSLY. IT SOUNDED AS IF THE PLANE WAS TAKING OFF HEADING NORTH, TOWARD WERSTVILLE RD. AFTER TAKEOFF I HEARD THE ENGINE MISFIRE AND SHUTTER WHICH CAUSED ME TO LOOK UP. AT THAT POINT I SAW THE AIRCRAFT IN A NEAR VERTICAL DIVE WITH THE UNDERSIDE FACING ME. IT DISAPPEARED BEHIND THE TREES AND I HEARD THE SOUND OF IMPACT. I IMMEDIATELY DROVE TO THE SCENE AND FOUND THE AIRCRAFT UPSIDE DOWN LEAKING FUEL WITH THE PILOT TRAPPED IN THE WRECKAGE. I TOOK HIS PULSE - THERE WAS NONE AND WAITED FOR POLICE TO ARRIVE."
