## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE STUDENT PILOT WAS PRACTICING SOLO TAKE OFFS AND LANDINGS. SHE LANDED LEFT OF CENTERLINE AND CORRECTED TO THE RIGHT. SHE OVERCORRECTED AND SKIDDED OFF THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY AND, APPARENTLY APPLIED POWER AT THE SAME TIME. THE AIRCRAFT EXITED THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY, TRAVELED ABOUT 400 FEET THROUGH THE GRASS, AND PROCEEDED OVER AN EMBANKMENT AND CAME TO REST. THE ENGINE SUFFERED A SUDDEN STOPPAGE DUE TO THE PROPELLER STRIKING THE DIRT. THE NOSE GEAR AND FIREWALL WERE DAMAGED ALONG WITH THE RIGHT WING TIP. THE PILOT WAS UNHURT. A DEBRIEF INDICATED NO DISCREPANCIES IN HER TRAINING OR ENDORSEMENTS. THE DIALOGUE BETWEEN HER AND HER INSTRUCTOR INDICATE THAT FURTHER TRAINING WILL TAKE PLACE PRIOR TO ANY FURTHER ATTEMPTS AT SOLO FLIGHT. THERE WERE NO DISCREPANCIES NOTED INVOLVING THE AIRCRAFT'S INSPECTIONS AND MAINTENANCE RECORDS.
